This is mostly a blog of everyday stories from my work as a primary school counselor. Some are funny, some are touching, but they all stand out as memorable moments. Sometimes I'll include photos, ideas that are working for me, and meaningful quotes. Enjoy!

Sunny Spots
While rushing down the hall to get to a class today, I noticed a cute but unusual sight. A kindergarten girl carrying a book in her hand was nonchalantly walking toward the library. Curiously, the short-haired child was sporting an open cardboard box on her head, with all 4 sides of the box top sticking out every which way. As I passed her, I said, "Nice hat!" Flashing me a snaggle-toothed grin, she thanked me and continued merrily on her way. Another sunny spot in the life of a primary school teacher!
