Half is Better Than None!

This week I started checking on a little red-headed kindergarten boy each morning, encouraging him to do his best at school. Specifically, his goal is to sit criss-cross applesauce on the carpet during learning time and to "bird-dog" the teacher. Daily, his teacher gives him a 1-10 score on how well he met this goal on the previous day. Well, as I was leaving school with my hands full today, this little imp rushed up, threw both arms around my waist in a bear hug, and jubilantly said, "Miss Mimi, I was half-way good today!"
