Checking on one of my favorite second graders this morning, her teacher said that her behavior was a 5 out of 10 yesterday due to lots of chit chat during work time. Since this child has been having mostly 10's lately, I asked her about the lower score. With a gap-toothed grin and wide blue eyes, she said, "I was feeling pouncy!"
