Independence Day?

This is a shared funny from my first cousin, who's a teacher.


Thought of you today when one of my students told me his side was hurting. I asked him what was wrong with it and he said, "Well I had to have surgery this summer to take out my independence!!" Another boy looked at me and asked, "What's his independence?" I had to turn my head to keep from laughing!!!!
