Meet the Puppets Idea

After school one day, I had a "Meet the Puppets" gathering for interested parents. The purpose was to familiarize them with my puppets and the important life lessons they help me teach. I made sure the adults got laminated cheat sheets to take home and hope they'll use them to reinforce these life skills with their children. The topics included were peacemaking, anger management, problem-solving, dealing with bothering and teasing, and study skills. One little kindergarten boy was there, and what a helpful co-teacher he was! Both his mom and I were impressed with how much he'd learned, and he wasn't shy about sharing his knowledge with us!
